Did it this morning with "black magic tint" from pepboys.
Couldn't do the center because I ran out of tint from messing up too many times lol.

nice work. dont forget to polish em. i've seen lots of people not polish lights and they end up looking worse than stock. plus the polish should help keep the paint from fading

it's not going to hold up very long. Mine started cracking and peeling 6 months after I tinted my taillights. I'm going to try vinyl next.

ive had mine done with niteshades for almost 3 years...they're dull but i like that flat look better.

how are people's fading and peeling in a couple months? noobed it up? :lawl:

i used automotive window tint film. :p I wanted to try out the look beforehand with something that's easily reversible in case i didn't like it. I'm assuming OP used window tint as well?

yeah, i dont think tint is durable enough for the outside of a car...vinyl should be good though.

I used some "JDM" smoke tint from autobacs and it held fine the whole time it was tinted, but thank god I've got some new tails now. Only reason I tinted them was to hide the ebay tails under it >_<

Btw I think that tint is a little too dark... unless that's the look you're going for- black.
