Hey, very new to the site and this is my first thread. I'm 17 years old (junior in high school) and I have a 2002 accord sedan that I would like to lower. It's daily driven and it's what gets me to and from school. So i'm stuck on if I should play it safe and only go 1.5" or if I should go for the agressive look I want and go 2". Because of my age I do not have enough for coilovers so what I had in mind were the eibach pro system or the eibach sport system. Wich should I go with for a safe daily ride???? I'm currently running 17x7.5 wheels wrapped in 235/40's.

I am dropped 2.25 on my coupe (it is also my daily) and I have no problems at all. Then again I'm on OEM wheels. Check out my ride thread, may help you make a decision.

A drop on springs, whether it be 2 inches or an inch and half, is a safe drop. An aggressive stance is only achieved through a coilover system and dropping our cars a few inches. A lot of guys use the Eibach Springs, Ksport Spring, or Tein Stechs. Its up to you on which one. Make sure you pair them with aftermarket shocks though. Most people use Tokico, Eibach, or Koni. Do not use KYB's, they are OEM replacements.

Check out the suspension review thread. Lots of helpful insight to products.

I was on Eibach Pro Kits and stocks for a while. The springs are for sale if you're interested.

for starters and limited funds I'm assuming, go with the eibach's. they get the job done, and they're inexpensive while still being able to be called a quality product. We also have the DIY for resolving the boat look.

If you can, just save up about 615 and get the type 1's here. Believe me, there will be a chance you wint like the drop and wish you were higher or lower.
