magnaflow universal muffler

i was thinking about getting the Magnaflow Universal Muffler #14821 off of jegs.com


what do you guys think of the Magnaflow universals? are they loud fartcans? more specifically this muffler or similar round body mufflers.
i'm going more for a deep, low tone; i don't like those really loud and obnoxious sounds.

Honestly i'm not a fan of magnaflow, I've heard it on a number of cars and it sounds ricey imo. Just go for the high quality stuff first, even if that means saving up some more money.

Paypalbid has some muffler that sounds amazing for a 4cyl, very quiet but deep. Basically the sound that would have people saying it doesn't sound rice..lol

My SS magnaflow oval muffler doesn't sound ricey 3inch inlet/outlet, but that's probrably because I have actual modifications done to my car and I'm a v6. Very deep tone. But I do have full exhaust and a deleted resonator. I love it, only positive comments from other people.

Go for it.. it sounds pretty good even if it's for a 4cyl.

I had one welded onto stock piping and it did not sound ricey at all when you gas it. Nice low, deep tone. Can't go wrong with magnaflows..

Ansa make exhaust for Lambo and Ferrari. They are very much similar to Remus and Sebring from Austria (Not Sebring Tuning)

You will find a very nice tone for this muffler even if you remove the exhaust resonator.

Anyway, go on youtube.com and do some searches and listen to the exhaust sound for yourself

if the one paypal posted is his i say check it out... deepest sounding 4cyl muffler i've heard. magnaflow is just way to loud and raspy from the other accords with it that i've heard to sound good good imo. for v6 i say get hks, tanabe, or if you have te mula comptech for the deepest sound

I agree that we will just have to disagree with our difference of oppinions on mufflers, but I do agree with one thing u said, my exhaust is louder than most but is quite a bit deeper and throatier than most. Carry on, good luck leeezy, please just make sure u do it right the first time.
