we always have a great time. Two couches got burned at the campfire this year.

here's us in a little rock garden.

I probably could have done it in 2wd.
There's not much @ the badlands that challenges the Jeep anymore. It's got alloys and spools and lockers and deep gears (4.56). So we're getting my wife a Cherokee to replace her DD camry and we're going to keep it stockish with some all terrains and some armor for her to drive. She won't drive my pile because the three pedals get a little complicated when you're trying not to roll off a cliff.

No mud slingin' shots!

I've never done it, but that looks like so much fun.

I hate mud.

You'll not find me in deep mud on purpose. only if I have to go through it to get to big rocks.

not sure if I've ever posted this here:

don't mind me stalling the snot out of it in that wedge crack. That was still 3.73's in the axles. 4.56's solved all that mess.
he tells me "to get on it" I launched the truck @ 3K and dropping the clutch. I bag on the poor old girl like she owes me money, but it's never failed to get me and itself off the trail, and it's pulled some much prettier stuff off the trail after it broke.

Hell yeah dude that truck and jeep combo is badass!:omgbd:

your user name describes my way of life.

I'm not to particular on how it looks, just how effective it is at it's job.

I have no regard for sheetmetal, paint, mirrors, doors or bodywork of any kind. i just don't care.

that's how you end up with $5k worth of axles and drivetrain in a jeep that's worth a thousand dollars (If I'm lucky and scrap is high that day)

Old girl turns 25 in another 3 months. I think I might get historical plates for it :lawl:

That is loaded/unloaded, regardless?

Still, do you really need to go faster than that?

Anyone else in the Rock Crawler Club(s) that you're a part of have anything similar to that that they bring their vehicles in?

Must have been quite a reaction the first time you pulled up in that.

that was loaded. on a flat road, slight tailwind.Grossed about 17.5K Lbs.
My junk is certainly not the most creative. Unique in that it's the only box truck. There are school busses in the campground too.

There's this:

SDC10730.jpg

a red uncut one that's named Clifford and has the vanity plates to proclaim that.

and there's another big blue bird that's all white named the cum bus. It's gigantic. He told me it weighed 22K lbs empty.
cheap fools that have busted up junk that isn't road legal anymore.
You can buy a running bus for like 3 grand. The cum bus has a Pergo floor and is real nice inside. Leather and pergo in a school bus
