I wouldnt use duct tape because it may leave so stickyness on the bumper. You'll be fine without tape just spend more time buffing the lights and not the body. Use a drill don't even try to do it by hand, the faster the drill the better it works.

Alright, I'm recharging my drills batteries right now. I haven't used this thing in maybe 5 years so I'm surprised the batteries can even charge
