Metal ac knobs anyone?

I do not have any metal knobs to offer up, nor any success finding them. How ever here is a concept I am working on using knobs from Radio Shack. I plan to intergrate the outer serrated portion of our knobs with this by drilling out the inner section to allow the R.S. knob to go inside. I still have to figure out how to let the light shine through on the face though...
