5000k is where it's at. I have 6000k installed right now, and it's nice but still a lil too bluish to look anywhere close to stock. 5000k is just about where I like it.

Okay, get to my car tonight and while wiping off snow I realize my one sylvania silver bulb is burnt out, thats my THIRD since last summer. I drove a 97 Saturn with silverstars before my Accord and they lasted over 2 years and I even kept them on when I sold it. I like silverstar's brightness, clarity, very slight blue color, and output. I even know a few buddies with silverstars on their vehicles and they don't have issues. I just don't understand why silverstars suck so bad on Accords lol

Guess I'll just replace the burnt silverstar with a new one then save up for an HID kit :hide:

Weird. I've had my silverstar bulbs for almost a year no probs. I am ready to get rid of them for HID but DROP first...:driving:

ive got 3000k now, but i was rocking 5300k for like 4years and i loved it.... im actually thinking of switching back to it.... 3000k is nice for bad weather, but i still like the look/output of the 5300k... ill see if i can find any pictures of them, its basically crystal pure white with a very very minor hint of blue

edit: found some pretty old pictures of the 5300k's

Yeah I was leaning towards 5000k... I want a pure crystal white with a verrry slight tint of blue, kind of like the silverstars

I bought a set of silverstars and they burnt out way too fast. replaced with normal halogen and saved the ~$30 bucks. much better life from regular halogens.

now i just have to wait for my projectors to ship. lalala

The color of the HIDs also depends a lot on which kit you get. I have 8000k bulbs, but honestly they're only a little blue...
