Ok I have a 2000 Accord V6 and today when I go to start my car, the engine shakes and starts to die out. The RPM's go down really low, and eventually it stalls out. I try to start the car again and again it dies or stalls out in park. I try to start it for couple of times more and the same thing happens. It started up one time, and I give it some gas, but the engine is shaking like a mofo and the car is idling very rough. The check engine light also came on.

I then wait like 20 minutes and try to start it, and it starts right up and runs normal ? :wtf1:

I then drive the car to autozone, and the person does the scan and says all my cylinders are missfiring ?
He then says I need to change my spark plugs, and that should solve it.

My question is he right ? Or is something more serious with my car.

I did seafoam on my car 2 months back, so could that be the reason ?

I am really worried about this, I am thinking I should get a compression test done ?:sad::sad:

even if it turns out its not the plugs, its fairly cheap to try. Give it a shot

You gotta do a few things.... First start by checking ur plugs.. make sure none of them have oil on them and make sure the seals are sealed... lol mine werent and oil was going into the spark plugs and showed that cyclinders were misfiring as well... make sure ur wires are good also

Check the plugs. If they are charred white, you are running too lean - misfire. If they are black sooted and smell like gasoline, you are running too rich - fouled plugs. Check the gapping make sure it's to OEM specs.
