I get 28-30 mpg city in my car, just driver mods. Mostly, its around 420-450 per tank and I fill it with about 14 gallons usually.

Synthetic oil. K&N Drop-in filter.

37 mpg (Highest): >90% hwy (avg ~60-65mph only, moderate downhill coasting, upshifts @ ~2500rpm...hardly >3000rpm, slight A/C) (so about 530 miles at 14 gallon fill-up, theoretically 645 miles on one tank)
28 mpg (Average)
25 mpg (Lowest): >90% city

That's right, three-seven.

2002 4cyl SULEV Sedan auto w/ K&N filter and Magnaflow muffler.

Usually I average about 23mpg.. about 280mi on 12.5 gallons with about 2 gallons left.

Recently, I recharged my K&N filter, gotten a new battery, used Chevron Techron's fuel system treatment and I got right at 26mpg (80hwy/20city). 332mi on 12.8 gallons. For most of the highway miles, I drove at about 65mph.. 70 tops.

I guess I'm happy with 26mpg.. doesn't sound too bad.

I get about 325-375 miles per tank, driving normally, with an automatic going on 160k miles. I've heard of people getting 450 miles per tank but I'm guessing that's with a 5spd ULEV or just low miles. Or maybe they're "hypermiling" lol. Faaak hypermiling tho, I would never try tailgating 18 wheelers or going 55mph on the highway and having everyone blow by me at 90, just to save gas. Oh ya, and these "hypermilers" shut off their cars when they're going down a long hill...... WTF are they thinking? That's probably the most retarded idea I've ever heard. These tree huggers need to realize that when you shut your engine off, you loose your brake booster and power steering. GREAT way to get into a wreck. 5-10 extra mpg isn't worth your life.

280 on a tank about 14-15 gallons every fill up, used to average 26 but it changed suddenly, CAI doesn't really help. :(
