Mph ????

can a 1-4 auto go pass 110 mph stock? !? my freind was doing about 110 on his and he told me his car was shaking really bad....me, I've only gone about 95-100 mph once on this secrect freeway......

I had that same thing happen to me (shake) but when i got me some new tires that when away. Ya i got a 4 banger and i hit 125?

120 MPH in I-95 at 3:00 am, the Interstate was clean and I tryed, I don't know if I could go faster 'cause that day 2 of my frieds were in the car and they weight about 250 each + me 220 Lbs = 720 Lbs more or less.
PS. No Mods in the engine, no CAI, no Heaters, Completely Stock.

oh what the hell... since this thread has been brought back from the dead I guess I can add my 2 cents

Fastest so far is 105 on the 10 Fwy going eastbound.... I was following somebody who decided to play speed racer and I had to keep up or get lost .

Here's my $0.02:

Around 105 on a back country road in good ol' O-H-I-O... A month or so after this, I got a ticket on the same stretch for 83 in a 55... Haven't sped like that since.... But it's a fast stretch because I once got behind a FedEx truck going 85 (and I caught him, but that's another story...

When I went 105 I had my friend following me in his Stratus (which he later totalled)... Which replaced his Neon we ran around 110 or 115 on the Pennsylvania turnpike...

Oh ya, and all those vehicles were 100% stock...

Anyone know what redline in 5th gear would get you to stock?

I'm in Woo town... I was in Akron on Monday... My speeding was done when I was in college at BGSU on a little back road that runs between two little po-dunk towns... West Millgrove and Cygnet, where I-75 is as far as I was concerned at that time. Right now I'm right next door to you guys in ol' Woo Town!

I accidently hit 110 tonight going to class. Didn't even feel like it, felt like I was doing 80. I guess thats what happens when you drive a EF standard for 2 weeks and basically have to floor it everywhere.
