I believe honda-tech has a write up about OEM vs MSD. From what I can remember most people lost power switching from OEM setup with OEM wires to the MSD setup with aftermarket wires. Why upgrade anyway since the oem ignition can handle 400++ hp?

Which is why anyone making over 400hp uses an aftermarket ign setup.

I have the cap and rotor kit that you want..honestly I think it looks clean as hell...very little increase in power though...the kit you got comes with everything....but the MSD Ignition Blaster SS Coil...it cost like another 40 bucks. Installation takes like an hour or so.

see that's what i heard about the spark plug wires but didnt know about the cap and rotor.
if that's the case i need to debate what to upgrade.
eitherway, i don't know if i have an OEM or a cheap aftermarket one as when i first bought the car, GoodYear were the people to do that tune up. that was before i knew anything about cars.
Ignition upgrades are pretty pointless unless your stock system is too weak to combust what is in the cylinder. As in high boost, large shot nitrious set ups. For a tune up, go for it. For performance, i'd take it back.

400HP my ***, thats what my tuner told me before it starting breaking up at a little over half that. Our ignitions are not up to par like the civics, we got week coils. 300whp+ You BETTER have a msd on there.

If you've got the money to make a reliable 300+whp Accord, then I'm sure you have enough money for an upgraded ignition.

I went with an OEM cap, and rotor. The NGK blue wires were cheaper than OEM, so I went with them.
