Matt's have the pleather on the sides/back, the others are full cloth.

Not sure why you wouldn't stick with the originals, Mathieu, they look better.

I still like the originals better, that diagonal striping is more pronounced, I agree they look better. Though I can see being unattracted to the vinyl/pleather backing.

The grey's are the original GLI interior

The helios recaro blues are a very rare interior from a special edition GLI only produced one year

Because I like the grey recaro interior better. Plus my driver seat has a big tear in it and the grey gli does not

Gotta have the Royal eagle, the Russian's stomped out with the 2-headed eagle in their time, and that was before Chernobyl happened haha.

Looks like this guy has blonde hair too lol. That is Gregory the Carrier of Victory (also known as St. George), slaying a serpent. These symbols - coat of arms and the eagle, dates back to before Peter the Great, with Ivan III as early as 1472.

I'm getting some more center cap decals made by my buddy black listed customs. They will be the red/gold BBS theme and font but they will say 'FAKE'

Finished product I did



So the mk2 is running 100% after a long process of testing, replacing, and tuning.

What is left is to:

Install new shifter rod and align shifter (The plastic hook was very warn down)
Pull out gauge cluster and fix shifter cable and temp light issue
Switch out BBS Ra's for the Traklites, install BMW wheel bolts
Get new back of custom center caps on

And last but not least align the hell out of the front end closing all the gaps and then paint.

and hopefully very soon trade my Helios Recaro interior for the factory GLI grey Recaro interior
