Re: 5 Speed Swap ( In Progress Finally)

Well the good news about last, All pedals fit. I'm just gonna get new fittings and make sure this time it fits. Should have tested before I threw the master in. Clutch line I got is a 2 Piece but I should kinda put a flex line in it rather then a solid line.

I'm worrying about getting it out of the garage right now, everything else planned has been put off. I can mount the bumper/coupe hood in my driveway, put the sway bar end links on, rewire etc.

Re: 5 Speed Swap ( In Progress Finally)

YAY Mechanically my car is a 5 speed :D

Motor is back in the car. All new M/T mount, Shifter assembly is hooked up, Gotta get a few small parts for it. Still trying to figure out the clutch line, so clutch master is still not in. 2 different size fittings.

Still gotta figure out the wiring to run a OBD 1 ECU.

Tomorrow we are putting the suspension and axles back in so we can roll out the car, I tied up a the Bay for a week and the owner wants use of his garage so we will restart sometime next week when more parts come in. But able to work on the car outside anytime. But with ****ty weather UGGH.

Installed the coupe filler pieces and drilled holes to lower the hood latch.

Sick is it running already?

No :( still gotta finish the wiring, Today im gonna tie up loose ends, bolt the strut bars, tie bars, bolt up the exhaust etc Yeah wiring is FuN :S

Clutch works great, I'll get a actually clutch line some day. Shifter Shifts, Tranny works fine. Started to put the engine bay back together, bolted the exhaust, installed the Rad, Changed the Oil and Filter, Topped up the clutch/brake fluid. Ran the wiring for my stereo system through the carpet, also relocated my battery to the trunk.
