Re: 5 Speed Swap ( In Progress Finally)

Its not really a shop, more like a friends garage with 16 years experience working on cars, so a lot of knowledge, They pulled my motor yesterday while I was at work. Other then my friends father who has a 2000 Accord SE this is the only other accord thats been in this Garage and his father does just minor work, nothing like I done to mine. This was the first auto to 5 speed swap ever done here. They mostley work on civics and integras.

First time my motor was ever pulled out of my car.

Let me know if you get stuck; the harder part is wiring the ECU with Automatic harness for lighting, reverse and such - be sure to pull some diagrams off Alldata or Mitchell. Good luck!

FML..

Clutch line does not fit. Then again was made for a F23A1, 98 Accord.

Fitting to the clutch master cylinder is too small, Then the fitting for the slave cylinder on the tranny is too big. But its the same fitting. Guess tomorrow I'm gonna need to make my own.

Only progress was I threw on my coupe filler pieces, Order my Coupe Hood, Bumper and new fenders. Picked up 25' of battery cable to relocate my battery, a battery box and my stereo wiring crap.

Tranny bracket still has not come in.
