I know this is not related to my accord, but I like this site alot and you guys seem pretty cool so I want to share my engine build up.
What Im build is a toyota 4agze. Its a 1.6 liter engine and is strong as hell. I plan to do a stock rebuild and I m aiming for about 270 to 300+ bhp. It will Probably be spinning to around 8500 rpms. I plant to have it running in Feb
This engine will be fitted 2 ft behind me in my mr2.
I have it torn down in my basment and here is where I am
The engine is going to be bored to 81.5 because there is some rust on cyl #1
These are the stock rods I will be using. The longer silver one is a k20 rod for comparison.
My new tools
I miced the crank and its in great condition. Im going to have it polished.
My bigport head. These ports are huge for a 1.6 liter
I have already semi polished the combustion chambers
And this is what is going to bring it to life. Its 1l/rev twin screw. The first pulley set up will give it about 17 psi.
I ordered my pistons form toyota last week. So hopefully they will be here soon.
Thanks for looking
