Andy why do you like to put your hood all the way up? Like how much up are we talking about? Because the height of the hood with the dampers is identical to height of it using the flimsy flip-out rod.. I made sure.

Do you not remember the pictures he posted of himself with his car? lol he's like a giant compared to his slammed sedan! I'm surprised he hasn't hurt his back going in and out of his car yet! lol no offense andy.

Rofl! I must have missed those haha, but I just had a vivid imagery in my head of Andy leaning under a hood, and then hitting his head and straining his back. Be careful Andy!

Looks good RussianRed! I may look into this... I was gonna try to old "side hinge" mod but don't really want to get into it... and my damn flimpsy rod is malfunctioning now if you believe that.

looks good. but i like the ability to put my hood all the way up :) haha

those supports only take 15 seconds to take off the studs. seems worth it to me. i actually have a set in my garage i might look into putting on if its nice this weekend, good excuse to bust out the welder. lol

I've been lazy but got a set of silver CF dampers I gotta install on mine. You said ur hood already had holes for the ball studs right? how did you secure the ball studs to the hood though? I've been trying to figure out how to maneuver behind there to screw the nut on.
