Ok thanks for all the advice guys. I'm probably going to save up and get Tein Street Basis or Street Advance. Looked around and almost everyone who has them says they're comfortable like stock.

Is there anything I'm going to need to reuse besides the top hat when buying Teins?

You will not need to reuse anything aside from stock top hats...but you should give the rest of the suspension a shake down when getting them installed as well to find any other soon to be issues.

F&F Type Two's - you can adjust dampening and therefore, have a nice ride quality. It will be firmer than stock but not stiff either.

You can also check out Koni Yellows and GC sleeves. If you don't plan tobe slammed default rates are perfect for you.

Ok thanks for the comments guys. I'm probably going to save up and switch them out for some Tein SA during the summer.

IMO, it sounds like you just outgrew being slammed and stiff. Being slammed has it's set of issues but being too stiff sucks all the time.

I remember when I bought my Prokit setup and everyone was like WTF, you will regret it. I have never regretted it because I had a friend with just about every single setup under the sun when I bought these. Prokit's are so well designed for someone who wants just that little bit better than stock. It doesn't only ride well but you only have the slightest issues with ride height. I did a DIY trimming to the shock mounts to make my front less than 1/4 in lower and that tiny bit has me bottoming out 4x as much. Granted, it's still way higher than most other options but I am just saying, they did their research.

I am not suggesting Prokit's, per say, I am just saying that they are meant for a certain type of person who not willing to compromise ride much, but is willing to compromise style or performance they would likely never put their car through.

I would bet that over 10 reputable coil over manufactures or more have either come over seas or started up since I became fond of this setup. I would say more than 15 manufactures have made coil overs more suited for street use since I bought this set up. I am just not up on it all. My point remains though, not everyone wants to be slammed and many of us grow out of it, be it commuting, just not into it, not trying to impress others, we start making different decisions. Then we buy nicer cars we don't ever want to slam, lol, give me a few years on that.
