let me make it a little easier to understand (with out the *****), basically your car looks like alot of what these kids do nowadays, which is add unnecessary "mods" to make your car look faster/more aggressive/asian. Alot of the guys on this forum abstain form doing such things becuz they take pride in their car and adding distracting/obnoxious modification is something we try not to promote. Yes every1 here has a creative license to mod in anyway, although about 99% most of the time see eye-to-eye on keeping it clean and simple.
-Most of us have come to realize that a huge 50 pound body kit will not make our cars go faster, or that a raspy exhaust will not cause the ladies to walk up and ask for our phone number, or the various stickers for parts they don't have will not give them "mad rep" from the WRX rumbling next to you.
all these mods, or "rice" as referred by everyone who doesn't do this, serve no purpose and basically stand out like the "gay guy that wants everyone to know he is gay, so acts really gay, even though no gay person naturally acts that gay, just to show that he is gay" otherwise obnoxious mods that don't look natural or just well put together.
Many guys on here will tell you that you should stay as OEM (original equipment) as possible, however this ideology can be stretched or even bent a little.
All in all unless it serves an actual purpose (not like the shopping cart handle wing on a FWD car) or has some overall eye appealing touch (such as modest small OEM 'style' spoiler) things that don't do anything except point you out to others is a annoying and a waste of resources... unless you have the HP to back it up, then you can put what ever the **** you want on your car
