You will need crome pro if you plan on doing this urself. You need datalogging if you aren't doing it on a dyno, and if you are, well, you still need crome pro to use map tracing.

Also, if you ARE doing this on your own, www.pgmfi.org is the BEST way to get into it. If not the only one I would recommend.

but i also find tht scary

the shop tht i did the swap in have 2 guys... one guy is basically not interested in my car lol, but the other guy is very much into it... he knows a crome tuner, so he'll see if he can get me something...

Forgive my ignorence, but what exactly are you breaking in...

Did you do anything to the block?

And you are probably doing more damage to your cylinder sleeves driving around untuned for 300 miles that you would have beating the **** out of it while it IS tuned.
