Bought This Stock Automatic 2002 Accord LX Sedan 6 months ago for 3k and a first car. I wasn't too happy because I wanted an integra or civic coupe to work on and get into the JDM scene along with my friends and an automatic mid-size sedan wasn't too much in that direction. Now I look back and glad I got one because Automatic is good to have for a first car and chill to drive. Not many 6th Gen Accords are modded and isn't a dime a dozen to see like most other cars modded. I been debating wether or not to mod my car because i didn't want to "rice" it out, but half the car scene around me,they have bought their cars the way they are and they don't track them so their car doesn't have a big diffrence, but a clutch, transmission, and parents with money lol I have never done anything to a car in my life except a car wash, but common sense came and I got to modding. I have done everything by myself and soon converting it to 5 speed with my own time and money with the help of a friend. I have Simple things done so far and a few afternarket parts. I have future plans of course, I want to make my car simple but clean and i've seen ppl try to shoot for it but im going to capitalize on it.Pleae Give some Tips and Critizism if you want.

JDM Fog Light Inserts(Lights aren't in,still need to wire them)

Tein Lowering Springs
Yakima Roof Rack(maybe)

Welcome to the site. I would also recommend coilovers vs springs. But not the ebay bargain basement stuff. Do the homework and get your $s worth.

Welcome to the site.

Enjoy.

If heavily modifying the Accord is your goal, I would recommend checking out some of the other white sedans for some ideas.

Definately do some research before you spend, so you don't end up spending twice to get the look you want.

I would also suggest checking out the Product Review threads as well to help you decide which products will be right for your goals.

Welcome to the site, good choice on the Accord. Civics and Integras are everywhere, the Accord looks better and has some class.

Btw there is no JDM equivalent of this car, thus there are no JDM parts even though blackhousing headlights and what not are advertised as such on Ebay. But be thankful, forget "JDM", and make your car something new and fresh to make it your own.

As for suspension, read up on spring/shock combos and coilovers, then decide which setup is right for you.

Welcome! I would also say not to just get springs. Get nice shocks with them or just get coilovers to begin with.

Welcome, looks like you've taken care of the car. Where in Richmond are you from? I'm at U.Va., but I'm from the Richmond area.

Also, when you're posting pictures from flickr, click on "share" above the image, then copy the bb code and paste it into your post. Then they'll show up as images instead of links:
