Looks really good, I dislike my wood grain too but i'm hesitant about painting it....I wanted to stay with the OEM black pieces cause they have a texture to them....

Looks great, but you're crazy! I think you could have easily traded your genuine, OEM-licious, retailing for more than $100, trim pieces with someone who had the plane-jane pieces. You could have had a sweet lookin interior (cause it does look amazing) and money in the bank!

No body wants wood grain I posted a FT thread and got no responses....HERE :(

Ahh, the center trim was modified. And for sure the gloss black looks better than the flat, but you could have always painted over. But enough of me being a jerk and taking away from a good mod, cause it really does look good. Did you, or are you gonna paint the center dash trim NHBP (i can't tell from the pics)?

I thought about just getting the OEM black plastic ones from the junk yard...but I figured the gloss would work because the wood grain was glossy too.

TheUAccord23 -- I didn't paint the center console around the stereo/climate control because I felt like that would be too much gloss. This way, having only pieces that were originally glossy be gloss black keeps is more OEM looking in my opinion. You weren't being a jerk...I thought about trading and whatnot...but in the end it was easier for me to just go get mine painted =].
