I use to collect collect sbs and had some gr dunks as well as some Jordans. But i sold them all now since i kind of got out of it. But let me tell you if you want comfortable and easy to break in dunks, go with SB. More cushion, some rare, and they cost about the same but usually more then regular dunks. It all depends on the color way your getting. Also remember if your buying dunks from other people or a non provided nike dunk SB carrier, you should always check to see if they are authentic or not. There are several clues to hint out they are just variants or real. The SB scene is getting ridiculous with all the fakes that are being produced. They are just shoes and they are to be worn that's what i believe in. The thing i hated when i use to own them is that the toe gets creased way to easily and what not. Don't worry about it since they will eventually break in after you walk in them. So how is the kit coming along, get it painted and installed yet? Post some pictures when you do.

dunks are hard to break in but once you do they're nice and comfortable... the sb (skateboarding) dunks have the extra padding so that helps a bit... just gotta walk it out for now :p

i collect kicks and none of my dunks ever hurt as much as you claim unless they like 1/2 size small or somethin...just walk in em but if its your toe that hurts especially the front am not too confident that its going to break in that well. kicks get wider but not longer..
