I'm guessing that you double checked all your wiring....

If its not the immobilizer than this is quite puzzling...

starter is brand new for 5 speed swap. Also, tested, works. Could it be ecu ground? Where does it ground at? I was browsing a forum a long time ago and that was a suggestion for something similar. Doesn't it ground somewhere on the motor. I remember taking off an eyelet on the motor that had lots of wire crimped to it to ground. I don't remember putting it back on, but its a been a while.

ok small update. I did find an eyelett on the right side of the motor by the fuel rail / intake manifold. Put it on, now when key goes to accessory the fuel pump primes with both ecus on its own, doesn't need obd2 tool hooked up. I also noticed, with stock ecu, green security light flashes then goes away, like normal. With jdm p5m, light doesn't show up at all. But both will get to accessory and prime fuel pump, still no cranking. I feel like i'm missing another eyelett though. Isn't there one on the left side by the dizzy or something?

GOT IT! Ended up double checking my neutral safety switch bypass wiring from the auto. I followed a guide that had his colors wrong! Fixed and cranked right up!
