here's a picture from today... my first shoot with a ringflash, and it turned out very good.

hair light was provided by AB400 with 20deg honeycomb... just a two light setup. lens was Sigma 28mm f/1.8 set to f/11 aperture and 1/200 exposure and 100 iso. it was literally a foot from her face. lol

Looks good, get her farther away from the brack drop though, the shadows are killing the picture. Also love the ring reflection you get from a ringflash.

Yeah I didn't like the halo shadow too much either, so I did get her farther away from it later, as far as I could actually, cause it's just a painted wall and there's a white middle wooden thing that goes around the room, so I didn't want that in the picture.

Here's one a tad farther away from the wall, and the shadows are barely noticeable. The dark part is just a vignette I added in ps.

loving the second picture!! just seems to work with her more, and you can see the piercing better

but yeah that skateboarding shot was natural lighting...and Opryland is probably 20 min from my house..so yeah very close..what are you doing way over here?
