zilla, one of the juvenile chinese water dragons he has. rex is too skittish to go outside. focus on the eyes

caliber, the (gotta be half-retarded) malamute. hes just under a year old now and weighs about 110lbs. his 1 year birthday present is going to be getting neutered a little blurry...not much light...

outdoor strobism with simple setup... sb-600 camera right and at same height as face shot into DIY 14" beauty dish...

The light falloff near the bottom is on purpose... it kinda makes a gradient from light to dark, and it's because I was using a Tokina 12-24mm and a small beauty dish.

The sun was used as rim/back lighting for this whole shoot.

Great lighting! What type of post processing do you do? Skin looks perfectly smooth, but the eyes seem OOF when viewed larger.

I don't think the eyes are that out of focus... I think it's just cause I have 3 AF points and her face wasn't on the AF point exactly right. Didn't feel like doing MF really. I didn't do much post-processing, just used this photoshop plug-in called portraiture to smooth skin and enhance tones.

sweet lemond!!! one of the maintenance guys at the shop i work at bought that exact same bike last summer..i loved riding it..looks sweet with those bull horn handle bars

how do you like egg beaters on them?? don't think i have seen those on a road bike before
