I love my egg beaters, they are so nice. Yea, my friend Dave built the bike, and I bought it from him last summer, it rides like a dream. It is so compliant, not harsh like most fixie's I've ridden. The bars weigh less than my pedals do, they are featherweight.

ohh so i guess u ride on the fixie side alot?? do u have a flip flop rear?? i just don't think i could ride fixie every day haha i tried to ride in parking lot once and it is so weird.

I ride it a fair amount, but still not as much as my Cannondale. Its got a 47-16 ratio but no flip flop. It's a little hard on my knees, so I've stopped riding it downtown because it gets really hilly, but if I ride it south, its smooth riding. As soon as you get your cadence right, the bike's weight literally disappears. If you've never felt it before, it's something else.

another reason to upgrade to the pentax k-7 when its cheaper...3" 920k pixel screen...same size and resolution as the nikon d90/300/700...

mine's only a 2.5" 260k or so...i can zoom in but that still doesnt help some of the time...

edit: im disappointed because i was using f/8 and i was like 35ft away so the depth of field should have allowed for that error...
