Is this something that's gonna be implemented in the whole state or just in the Ontario area? The lady says "California" as the state, but the correspondent says that the cops in Ontario are "trying something new".
It's not that bad living in Cali, at least not for me. I actually love living here. I've never really had any problems with the police, even when I had my 6th gen.

dont quote me on this, but i think its just the ontario area, because in ontario, they are doing random smog check....but mostly they stop the vehicles that are modified....many of my frnds own 240, has been stopped and taken smog without knowing whats happening...
but technically, it is complete voluntary......
i was stopped once, and i told cop that i was in hurry and i do not wish to do the smog, and he had to let me go. so yeah...ontario cop sux...hehe
