Offset choices

Ok....you're not searching enough for the info...it's out there.

17" rim, run a 45-50 profile tire.

It has been suggested that you run a 20-40 offset. That doesn't mean it has to be 30, but it can be in that range, I would suggest closer if not IN the 20 range.

If you don't want to roll your fenders, then don't, don't slam the car, that's all.

If you get a higher offset, then you would need to run spacers.....not what I would recommend with those wheels, if your offset is in the 10-20 range.

I know I'm gonna run a 40-45 series tire already(my choice) but I've been told either 205 (stretched but don't agree), 215 (seems good), and last 225( which seems too much) I know the rim is 9" wide which is something I've never delt with or a concaved rim. Like I keep saying I want tire to fender not tucking that's as low as I want to go not lower.

If you look up Keychain's Accord, he is running 225 tires on his 9 inch wide rim.

I don't remember the offset he is running, but he is also lower that you want to go, so, 225 will stretch, and still look fine.

215 is too narrow.

Keith's set up is 18x9.5 +23 with a 215/40 tire.

If you're not aware that 225's will be stretched on 9" rims (nevermind 215s and 205s, yikes) then you aren't ready to buy any rims that will have an aggressive fitment.

Learn about offsets and tire widths and rim widths and fender clearances and spacers and camber and all of the other things to consider.... learn them for yourself. You're making a big decision on what rims to buy and how your car will look, don't take someone's word (someone you don't know, no less) when you can make up your own mind with a little bit of legwork.

Thanks for the advice! I not gonna go buy the rims once some gives me the "answer" to my question. This thread is to help me, I have looked at the sticky thread for offset calculator and that gave me some wat knowledge on offset what I still don't know is how wide my wheel base is for a 9" rim with a certain offset. I'm not trying to be "hella" flush or slammed just looks good on a concaved rim. I'd get something smaller than 9" wide by that's the smallest width for a rota grid concave.

a 17x9 and 25 offset will look just like my setup, a 215/45 will be perfect for it, my wheels have just a little poke past the fenders and im not that low, i have 17x9.5 30 offset so pretty much same specs.

btw who are you buying wheels from ?

Thank you! Finally some one who give me a answer and a possibility. I still don't know where I'm gonna get em from, who did you get yours from and how much? Btw you didn't roll your fenders right? What about the 5mm spacers you said you had?

Those spacers I had were those ****ty ones lol. I removed those, if you want spacers always get hubcentric spacers. I rolled the rears only because I have people in my backseat so it rubs on sharp turns and hard bumps. I just stuck a tiny baseball bat and rolled them. I dont rub at all when I have a full car. Atleast 5 people in the car.

Call up aspecwheels. Search them on google they have good prices and great customer service.
