Yeah man. I live in Miami.. well but what should i tell my insurance? Im only 16 its under my dads name.. but my parents want to just take it to a shop the insurance owns and have them do it.. but i rather just get the check buy the parts then take it to a insurance shop is that possible?

That happened to me.... I just got three estimates, sent them to the insurance company and they cut me a check for it. Then I went had it done with parts from other junked cars, and spent the rest on a new stereo..... Just ask your parents and tell them your idea. But in the end, you are only 16 and it is their call.

Yeah, I'm quoting myself.
Find a good shop.... tell them that you want used parts.... coupe bumper, fenders, etc.... they'll get them for you if you don't want/ have time to get them yourself.... the $$ you save could be enough for that CF hood. Ask around to find which shop you should go too. Older hotrod guys are usually a good source for info on the best body shops around.... good luck man.
