So here's the deal. My mom just got remarried this past November, and they just bought a new house which I am moving into this coming August (woohoo congrats to them). Regardless, with their marriage, I now have a stepbrother who has a crappy old Corolla....which recently died lmao. My step-dad...here's the GREAT part, owns a 2004 Audi TT (the 225hp version) with 53,xxx miles, manual with quattro. So he just called literally 10 minutes ago asking if I wanted the Audi and would give Drew (my stepbrother) my Honda.

It is so bittersweet because I just got my coils put on last weekend and my camber kit comes in tomorrow and my final alignment is scheduled for Monday morning. So right as I finish my car, I am given this opportunity.

What should I do 6GA? Keep the Accord and say no thanks, or take the Audi hands down. And I have a feeling what the responses will be since the car is so nice and has low miles versus Audi reliability which people have a problem with. For those people I say, 2 blocks behind my house is an Audi dealership lol and my Accord has 107,xxx with the original autotragic.

one question runs thru my mind:

Why doesn't your step father give the Audi to his own son?

Say no to the Audi, suggest to your Step father that he give it to his own son and you keep the Greatest Honda ever made.

^Seriously. And if he wants to pay the maintenance, sure. Just make sure that if you do give your Accord to this kid, that you take off all the mods. And prepare to see it get mistreated.

So yeah, thinking keep the Accord for now.

Keep the Accord. I assure you the Audi is a pain out of warranty and isn't nearly as DIY friendly as a Honda. If your stepdad is willing to maintain the Audi the correct way then jump on it. If not just politely decline

If you can afford the maintenance for the audi, including premium gas that it recommends, go for it.

I think step dad is trying to be "nice" and give you the audi instead of his son to not show favoritism. Are you older than drew?
