Glad stuff is working out, but please take note of the fact that this is in the completely WRONG section.. This section is for Site Feedback and any issues or improvements with the forum. Please post correctly from here on out. For electronics-related opinions please post it in: Car Audio & Electronics, or if it's that urgent in the URGENT - Help Quick! section.

gotcha. not a problem!
What did you hear them in?

what do you mean? and hear what?

He probably does have 2 15s in his trunk. Their probably in a 1 cube box tuned to 60 HZ but their in there :lawl:
It's kinda funny some people think just because the speaker is bigger it will be louder they don't even know any thing about tuning, ohms, or even watts.

Ok so your thinking of getting some kenwood 12s and a kicker 1000.1 huh..
Well the kenwoods are going to be 4 Ohm each. The kicker is probably 500 watts rms @ 2 Ohm if your lucky. You can wire them up parallel and get some decent sound out of them. Then comes the box, what kind of box is it, what is it tuned to?
You need to do your homework on this stuff before you get it and realize its not what u thought it was

What did you hear the Kenwood 12s and kicker 1000.1 in? Was it hooked up in a car? SUV?

Ok and the kicker amp IS NOT 1000 watts I don't care where you got your info from, but if you believe it's 1000 watts you got another thing coming...

Like I said you would be lucky to pull 500 watts out of that amp.

yikes, only way i could see 2 15's working is if you did a sealed box. could work in a sedan for sure

15's NEED air to work PROPERLY. yeah i could throw them together and have each 15 have 1.5 cubes each and have a port tuned high as hell, but that wont work as well as only 1 15 in the correct box.

go with either 1 15 or 2 12's

make sure youre looking at RMS power. another thing to consider is if the amp is CEA compliant. if not, they can lie to your face all day. ignore that 1000 watts peak bull****. rms is where you need to be looking.

heres a video that looks into the cea compliant thing

if youre not down to watch that video, just read this. the boss amp claims "1200" watts but can only put out 200 watts rms under IDEAL conditions.
