Re: Longest retro ever...

I had a hunch you did gold to tie it in with something else on the car.. maybe you should paint the valve cover gold too. That'd look unique

Updated. Posted some pics of the projectors as if you guys didn't know what they looked like. But they're kinda cool shoots.

if you're really into that gold scheme then you may want to consider paint the front portion of the project housing (the inside) as well as the cutoff shield gold so that when the projector is off, it'll look gold when you look at the projectors.... im probably doing mine blue.

btw, how are you mounting the projector? and is it infront of the reflector or behind? i thinking about shaving my tsx projector body a little bit so that i can mount it from the front.

Re: Longest retro ever...

that's a slick idea, it confused me a little but i like it. But does it effect the output color? and i'm mounting mine from the front but i'm not triming them.

Re: Longest retro ever...

honestly i have no clue but i've seen others do it.... maybe someone who's studied retros longer than i have can chime in.

but what i do know is that IF you decide to do that, you'll definitely have to use a high temp paint

Re: UPDATED: Longest retro ever...

looks great! i plan on mounting mine the exact same way. what are those red things you used? and how long of a screw did you use to mount the projector? gonna have them accessible from the back for future adjustments?

edit: looks like the projector lense is pretty close to the black painted trim, hope you use a good high temp paint. also what'd you do to secure the shroud onto the projector? had to open the hole of the shroud up a bit right because i know it doesnt fit perfect.
