Meh... I don't use DPP personally, but I am planning on using the remote shooting app at some point.

I transferred a 4gb card in like 5 minutes from the 40d... thank you usb 2.2, the 300D was usb 1... so yeah..

Anyone ever have problems with nearly full CF cards? I have Extreme III 8GB cards and when they get to around 2,000 shots (90%+ capacity) the read/write speeds get REALLY slow.

I was using the high speed burst setting shooting RAW the other day. I filled up a 4GB Extreme IV and all it said was "CF Full", the read/write was just fine.
Maybe there was an error formatting or a bad sector in the flash memory?

JPG, ISO100 (smallest file size), with an empty card my camera says I can shoot 2086 photos. Once I get up to that many it still says there's a couple hundred left.

I've filled 2GB and 4GB cards before with no issues. Just once I got over about 7GB / 2,000 images. Happened on 2 different cards.
