yeah i have a 24mm f2.8 and i don't think it has enough zoom on it for a walkaround...so i can't wait to get this one...and i have been able to use it in some pretty low light situations..so i don't see how the 1.8 to 1.4 would make a HUGE difference for me right now, esp at the price jump..plus i think i want to get a Nikon 10.5mm soon

What do crop users actually shoot with their nifty fifty's? I find mine too long to be useful as a walkaround. It's fun to play with, but not really "useful" to me at all. That and it feels like it could break at any second :D

Anything low light, or when I want the camera to look smaller and less conspicuous. People, cars, whatever. I like it.

For me the 17-55 way more useful than the nifty fifty even if it is over a stop slower. When it's not dark out and I want a small/light walkaround the 18-55 IS usually gets put on. I guess I am just spoiled by zooms :D

yeah zooms are nice...but i tend to grab my 24mm over my 18-55, it makes me be more creative and move around..but if i know i will be sitting still i will take the 18-55...all the primes i have seen are just so much sharper

wooooot! now i wait 2 days for my 2nd reciever :hihi:
So you got a second flash...lucky bastard lol.

But why do you need a V4 receiver? Don't Nikons have the Commander feature built into their bodies/flash units for ocf?

if i pick up non-nikon flashes and i dont trust the IR
Gotcha. I wanna get another cheap flash, but I've been seeing 580's and 550's for cheap, and if I pick one up, it would give me the Canon IR system for maintaining ETTL, as well as the option of using RF receivers for manual control.

Decisions, decisions.
