Looking for pics of how tein basis will look with 17s....I have searched and the only post I could find the links for the pics were broken. Any help is appreciated!

Still on the fence about which coilovers to go for.

What coilovers doesn't matter nearly as much how they'll look.

Rather your budget, needs, comfort level, adjustability, goals....

Not slammed. Just looking for clean and relatively comfortable. Will be DD. So no FnF Type 1s.

I know to keep the oem ride comfort the Tein Basis's are my best option. But if I choose to go lower later I know Ill prob need step up to Street Advance, Fnf Type 2, or D2s.

Just would like to get an idea of how wheel gap(or lack there of) would look with 17s.

Those Teins set at the lowest should be able to close up the wheel gap, and that's if you're planning to run 215+ and 45 series tires.

If not, it'll be close and in that case, you can remove one of the spring perches to give you that extra 1/5 inch of drop to close the gap. But you can always order shorter springs from Tein, as an alternative.

Yea Im running 215/45/17. Sounds like the Basis is what Im looking for then. Been looking at a few pics of cars with all types of Tein setups and I got a general idea.

Speaking of spring perches being removed...how does that fall in the safe dept. hah!

Not trying to dump a bunch of money in to it since its just my DD, but I still need to show it some love. Got a track car that is gonna also need some love soon (aka new motor :ownedrun::eusa_wall:)

I don't know if you've checked mine, but I have Tein coils (St. Adv. though) w/ 17' rims.

I've got the SS's with the Pillow Ball mounts but rock 16's for the cheap tires!! It's as low as I want, with no gap in the back (probably from the stereo) and a small gap in the front. I'll see if I have any pics handy and post them in a bit.
