Yeah, she got out of the car just fine and was walking all around both cars like it was all good. Cop wrote down no injuries on the report, no ambulance was called. I was given a citation for careless driving since it was a rear-end accident.
But yes, she brake checked me. I wasn't following too close but we were coming off a highway onramp, in the merge lane. I looked to my left to check my blind spot to change lanes, and in the split second it took for me to look back, she was on the brakes like a madwoman.
When the officer told us to wait in our cars her arrogant teenage son showed up and asked her how she was, when she said "alright" or something to that effect - he laughed and told her to hold her neck and yell "clinica! clinica!" and say she was hurt. They were hispanic so I couldn't understand everything, but that was enough. I made sure to tell the officer, and my insurance company about that.
