i somewhat of a newer member, but since im potentially about to lose my license if figured i tell the story whether or not anyone gives a **** lol. so i live in new york and i was driving on a one way road with three lanes. being as stupid as i am i wasnt paying attention to the speed limit and figured it would have been at least 50-55mph. and me being a fast driver doesn't help any either. so im driving in my slow *** accord and some girl in a MKVI gti decides to mess around so i get to a light and my friends like "yo theres a cop behind you be careful" so i turn around and notice his spotlight aimed at my mirror and figured i was gonna get pulled over cause this always happens to me. so i proceed to drive slow and he cuts between cars and cuts me off on an angle facing the curb. the girl in the gti stops behind me and he lets her go (figures, shes a woman) he proceeds to open my door and tells me to turn the car off and get out of the car. he throws me against my trunk and pats me down. he gets my ID and tells me to give him the keys as i sat in my car. he comes back and asks why i didnt stop earlier (except the dumbass was in an unmarked car and never had his lights on, only the spotlight). so i told him i only noticed him behind me at the light when my friend told me. he then looks at the badges i have in my window, because my uncles in a senior investigator for the state police. so he tells me that i should tell my uncle to call him so they can talk. then he hands me the ticket for 72 in a 30. so i could potentially lose my license or the ticket could get dropped. im waiting to hear from my uncle and hopefully he comes through. even if it doesn't get dropped i basically deserve it and ill probably never speed again. my uncle has gotten me out of tickets before so i pretty much dont deserve it this time. but we'll see how it goes. and if i lose my license ill probably spend alot of time working on my car especially with my new fog lights on the way. wish me luck
