^^ and that pic is from 2003!!!

It's an old RF 6.5 HE sub. It didn't sound as good as I wanted it to!! I later switched it over to quart 6.5 ref coax. If I had made it fire into the dash would have worked and sounded better. I still have it if anyone is interested!!!

After a while it was more of a novelty!!!

The front sub was a cheating effort to get up front bass needed for SQ!! It didn't work, and now I have all kinds after my recent install.

Here are some pics:

I like it, and have always wanted to try a velodyne sub!! I like the sub box. I may have to go to something like that for next season!!

As for the sub in the console, I think it's because there was no way to load the woofer. I played around with boundary baffle board, but never got around to making it permanent. I used to compete against a civic that had an 8 under the radio that fired toward the firewall that gave me the idea. His sounded awesome!!! If I had made mine where it fired into the dash cavity it might have sounded better, but I'll never know!!!

new Kenwood Head unit for Sirius tuner in trunk.

This Kenwood may be the worst ergonomic design on earth, it sucks flat out. Sounds nice but drives you insane if you have to reset any controls...if I didn't already have the car wired for a kenwood tuner for the Sirius I would not have gone with the Kenwood unit.

I have a JVC Arsenal unit in the garage in the box from an old company car I may just install in it's place. It wasn't as high end a unit but oh so much easier to use in the car.

But the Kenwood unit may stay in the car for use with an iPod adapter. I have RCA's under the passenger seat right now for use with an iPod etc.
