The interior black vinyl looks great with what you have done so far... hopefully you'll be able to get to finish soon... good luck...

And here i was thinking on how to do my interior black; i was thinking on just buying the parts from different shops, but your way of doing it sounds and looks more fun.

Been a while so I was just wondering if you've been able to do anymore on this. Looks amazing so far!

Also, are you keeping track of how much material (yds) you are using to do the project. I'm itching to do something with my tan interior.

Thanx..

Hasn't been around since August, so not sure if you guys will get a response.

Millz, I was thinking about doing a combo of vinyl/paint and get rid of the dash kit. Maybe we'll have to see if we can set up a GB on getting some materials if there are enough people interested up here.

im tired of looking at all the grey plastic in my car, especially the dash, but i dont want to paint it

also another issue for me would be how long it lasts, if i keep my car for a few years and sell it down the road hopefully the vinyl will still be nicely in tact and look good

i'd wanna change it to black but all depends on how good this vinyl is, if its strong then I dont see why not

I've done a little research and I've mostly found decent fabric between $14.45 - $18.50 per yard. Automotive grade tends to be more expensive as it has a better temperature rating (will stand colder temperatures w/o cracking).

I think this was a great project idea though, just waiting til I have the time to committ to it, unless I wanna go for an interior panda look.
