i have tyc black housing with 6000k hids and the only thing i don't like about it is the cut off line, it's not sharp. but the visibility with the hid kit is good, IMO. here are some pics...

did you have to re-aim your hid?
also, your picture made me want to get hid even more....:) :)

be like it is
wow...i am completely unimpressed with the spread and especially the reach of those tycs. all the light is directly in front of the car with nothing on the sides. and the glare in the garage pic is baaaad...all the light above the cutoff line is going into other drivers eyes.

9006 hids with h3 projectors, took some trimming, but it works now with both 9006 and h3.

i admit, it does shine brighter in the front on the car, but the picture does no justice due to crappy camera, but it really does make a difference and shines farther than you think. all the light on the house up ahead is from the projectors, when it's off, it's all dark. the camera automatically adjusts at night due to the brightness of the light. and the light above the cutt-off line in the garage is from reflecting off the wall and car etc because i was too close to the wall.

nexTOme: yea i had to re-aim it but it really isn't hard at all, just twisting some screws.

the cut-off line isn't a big deal, just do what i did and park on a flat area facing a wall from a distance and adjust them to your liking, try to make it level with ur projectors to minimize glare.
