Purplehousing headlights.

I am not really feeling them. If you ever redo them, I have a good idea though. Paint them a metallic charcoal, then some HOK Candy Purple. I have also done similar with spray cans. Do a very metallic silver, then Duplicolor metal cast (purple), and then some VHT nightshades over it.

Either way, they will look like black housed but you will get a glimpse of purple in the sun.

I feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. Are they depo or not. Is it bad if I just buy ebay blackhoused headlights? Or will there be fitting issues?

You're always taking a risk with fitment issue with aftermarket headlights. yes those are aftermarkets the one he is referring to.
