Quick question about the ulev dizzy

Hey guys i am at work and would like to know if anyone know who the OE manufacturer for the F23A4 distributor cap/rotor is.

I got a cap from rock auto and it seems that ive receive the wrong part as the cap ive received is half the wodth as the one i have.

Rochauto sales asked if its either tec or hitatchi

YEC not tec is the aftermarket OE replacement part manufacturer.

I don't have a clue what the difference is, but I do know the question is always Hitatchi or TEC.

My weekend job is parts hawker at Advance Auto.

I can pull one of each, if we've got them in stock, but it won't be until Sunday.

[edit: and I wouldn't be surprised if Rock Auto sent the wrong parts. When I ordered my mounts one of them looked like a trans mount for a pickup, when I looked at the box they had crossed out part of the number with a sharpie to make it into the number I ordered.

You'll most likely need the hitachi for any ex,lx,se. TEC is for dx models to my knowledge.

Ive figured it was the wrong one. I guess i was being irresponsible for choosing tec over hitachi without the knowledge of the two. I thought it was just brand and make blah blah blah. I did order tec because i thought it'd suffice/price.
