on second thought, i just brought the car home and under the lighting in my garage, i see allllll the flaws at a certain angle. i guess the lighting at my dads shop was good because it looked damn near flawless there.

Not that I am interested in doing this myself, this is super dope. It really fits your car. Your work looks really good. The CF looks super flat to the sheet metal, even on the edges. This looks about as good as it gets. Props to you sir.

I mentioned in a thread a while ago that I am in Hayward a lot. Their are a few rappers down their I work with (I am a musician). We should meet up. I am in Lafayette or Pleasant Hill most of the time. My car is kind of a mess, the paint on my front lip is chipping and my interior is halfway done, lol, I rarely even wash my car, super busy lol.

I really haven't done meets with any car I own but I would be interested in something local, though my schedule is a bit all over. With my Jag, my Talon, and my accord, I usually just try to meet up with some local people and chat, get to know peole.

Probably can't make the So Cal meet unfortunately. I may actually be down their actually but not with my car.

sadly this project is done. over. trash.

it only lasted a couple weeks before the shyt hit the fan and it got bad. the CF layer is detaching from the roof. at this point, ive had enough of this and am not sinking another dime into the failed project. it was looking great until i started daily driving the car again, then 12hours of sunlight 5 days a week(at work) took its toll, my project couldnt handle mother nature's subtle but brutle sunlight.

the start of the problem was around the edges of the sunroof, once it lifted a TINY bit, the air at freeway speeds did the rest. the roof is lifting slowly but surely.

i overstepped my abilities with this project. for now i have it taped down around the edges to keep it secure for daily driving. once i have money saved up, i have a choice to make, either paint the roof black again, or do the color change on the whole car i've been wanting to do.

this is the first big mistake i've made with my car, and it sucks.

Damn, sorry it didn't work out man. But you wouldn't have known had you never tried it, just chalk it up as a learning experience.

Damn that sucks. Pictures were looking sexy as Hell also.

I'm in Stockton and going to the meet in June. The thing is that I'm leaving on the 7th around 11:00pm and staying there til the 10th with my girl.

We should have a little shoot with just us 6thgens after the meet.
