Re: Rear Fog

Just make sure to wire it with the front fogs...dont wire it that it turns on when parking light is on.

Congrats!

ummmm... no...

make a new wire with an individual switch...

its ghetto when the rear fog light are on when driving...

like those audi driver who don't know that their rear fogs are on...

and drive like nothing is happening...

rear fogs are supposed to be on while driving, thats the whole point of them...so that you can be seen while driving in the fog.

personally, i dont like the 'add-on' rear fogs.

Re: Rear Fog

Re: Rear Fog

First off.. Looks really good!! very clean... but i may be dumb for asking this but why do you need a rear fog light.. i mean if you have brake lights isnt that bright enough for coming traffic? ... i mean i have seen people put fog lights on the back but hook them up to backup lights to see better with dark tint when backing..

Just sayin.. :hide:

Re: Rear Fog

What i meant was wired to the fogs (meaning with a switch), only switched on when its needed (fog, heavy rainfall, snowstorms etc.) it helps with visibility!

Re: Rear Fog

I forgot I even had rear sidemarkers.. but picturing it doesn't really look that good.

Yeah, It works on a black car, or a really dark blue or green. But that plastic surround against red, meh.

The idea is that fog sort of hangs around in the air a bit above the road, so the fog light emits light from under the fog so it is more easily seen. The tails are usually dimmed by fog, especially from a distance at night.
