Its best to have it done by a shop so you don't risk the chance of messing up your trunk and if they do they would have to pay for a new or used one for you

shop is a good idea...i did mine took like 1/2 hour to measure out... i had my buddys car to refrence tho...made it a lil easyer....one thing i noticed is that tha extra weight from tha spioler(oem) made tha trunk not pop as high as b 4 ...nvr not opens but wonder if one day tha spring action will wear out

Did you replace the original trunk springs with Honda heavy duty springs?
Might be your problem.

Spoiler installation is not hard ... inside all trunks for coupes and sedans have premarked spots where you drill for the spoiler. Two marks on each side.

It's not that hard to drill a few holes. Just start with a small one, and the use right size bit. I'd use a very large bit to clean off the edges [not to drill through, but just to trim it a bit]. Then I would use a q-tip and put some primer, paint and clear coat on.

So, the wing I found came off a 98 accord coupe. When I chekced the holes, it doesnt align with my 02 accord coupe. Does anyone know if there are suppose to be difference or did I just pull a non-oem wing off a 98? Also, can someone take pictures of their wing (with dollar bill size references)? The wing I got just doesnt look right. On a side note, if I dont want to go OEM, any suggestions for wings?

Give us a few pictures of your wing, including the underside of your wing. Does it say Accord on the bottom of your wing?

There is no accord on the underside of the wing. I am guessing this is def not OEM. huh?
