Removing Cup Holders

Okay, soo ive been trying to do the research, and dont know to post it into this forum or not but anyways..

I was wondering how to remove the cup holder from the console without breaking anything, or having to remove the whole thing. Or is there another entry way to clean the floor, and pick up lost coins and cards from the cup holder flipping up.

open the door, pull up on it with one hand then grab onto the middle part with the other...

it was pretty easy for me to search.

if i remember correctly, don't you just pull up? gosh, it feels its been forever.
