Good choices but, I wish you posted pictures of the car of the bad things and parts you got in. Its not hard take out lil'dents in certain areas. Post pics and some board members could help.

Yo Fallen,
You should get those silver bulbs.. the ones that light up amber, but when they are unlit, they are white/silver coated. Thus, you will have true red/clear tails.. without the orange bulb showing.

i just might do that. considering i already have blue tinted bulbs for my reverse lights. they light up hyperwhite.

If you don't have any major paint damage, as in large chips, flaking clear, etc...You may want to look into paintless dent removal. For $400, your car might look perfectly dentless. Most places will give you an estimate on the spot, or even go to your house to give you an estimate. Then if you just have minor scratches, touch up, do a full detail with polish. A friend did this and i was shocked at the results (i'm not kidding). His car was dented and faded with no bad pait damage, not all that attractive, and it looked like a nice lease return after. Something to look into.

every professional in the auto business has been telling me the same thing. this seems likely the route i will take. i either need raymond to detail for me or pay some guy to do the buffing.
