i honestly dont remember if the z lenses will fit, since i dont care much for the fx because of the mountain (3rd pic). the second pic looks more like an rx330 with stock shield but i cant tell for sure since the step is in the panels...

youll be spending 80-110 for tsx lenses, but more likely youll have to buy the entire projector and then sell the shells without lens. the shells alone are worth around $70.

Yeah I've never really liked the mountain, but now that I look at it.. its pretty sweet lol

But dont buy the whole projector, just go buy the lenses over at hidplanet.com/forums theres always a guy selling them over there. You have to watch out though, people take those things FAST so you need to watch that site like a hawk to buy them off someone. TSX FTW lol

^^Yeah i was going to just buy projector..but the guy never responded in thread...thread was like 2 weeks old...so i am just going to buy FX with clear stock lens and just mod them..and maybe down the road get TSX...even though that will cost a pretty penny more..They do take them fast though....i was looking at two different sets last night and they both got taken from me in about a 3 hour span..

So now i feel defeated and i have to buy some haha

hahaha, well I'm sure you could always call up Custom Lightz and see what they have forsale. They stock that kind of **** all the time. 516-241-9112 and ask for Bjorn and see what they have. It's sorth a try, but if you dont want to call I will lol

But yeah FX's when modded are phat as hell. I wouldn't have a problem with getting those, specially since they're Bi-xenon, which reminds me! I still have to send mine back to CL and get some TL's installed for a quad setup lol... So if you see a nice pair of TL's WITH ZKW lenses or even M35/45 projectors LMK!

Yeah i talked to Rich a few days ago...he said they almost always have FX projectors...but i found some on ebay and got those friday...

Your going to put TL in 6thgen?? I thought they were too big?? They look awesome though..i will keep my lookout though...I saw cutoff pictures of the TL with those lenses on hidplanet and it was insane

tl's ARE too big for the 6th gen housing. if you want to cut the bottom of the housing for the solenoid...remember there is stuff under the light itself. dunno what kind of sealing options are there with such little space. tl's go for 220-260 and zkw lenses (if you can find them) go for ~280...

eric, fyi...i remember you wanted more color in your cutoff...you would pretty much need a clear lense like tsx to make any color with them since the fx is very yellow

^^ TSX lenses mess up the E46 beam. The curvature of the lens is not the same.

300zx lenses works good also...did you get my pm?? friend of mine has the fx clear lense moded...and it has some color..not like the TSX or 300zx though
