Rakuten is a well-known online store in Japan, probably the biggest or next to Amazon-Japan. Of course, it's a trusted online store. The URL is their overseas website. And, the website is in English! As you can see, Rakuten Global is for people, who live outside of JPN, to purchase things from JPN online.

I just happened to get my stuff, when I travel there. That's all. If you ever travel to JPN w/ me 'n go to Autobacs together, I'll be down for being a translator, explaining you whatever you browse in the store tho!

Saw some de-icer / salt on the road recently, as it's getting colder... Figured I should replace some rusty screws, before they go bad. (I remember I had some tough time removing the exhaust tips after 3 years of use. And, yes I know; I need to tuck in the weather strip on the edge of it.

Funny to see that the bracket & the bottom screws seem to be fine since these are stainless steel, but not the top screw. The overall looks rusty, but it's really coming from the top screw.

Drove down 2 cities away from home, just to get 6 pieces of stainless steel screws lol. (This is my favorite warehouse. What a loyal customer here lol.) The store staff was super nice, and they gave me these for free! With two extra pieces!

Obviously, this wasn't the stuff I bought from JPN, but... More things to come soon!

Was debating between this or "無限 MUGEN POWER" in silver logo.

Good sealing compared with the OEM cap I've had; It turns and feels much more gradual in torque as I tighten / loosen it. Hoping that the rubber sealing will stay like this.

Almost chose the center cap in blue, to go with my blue ground wirings, but settled w/ black.

Thanks. It was 9,180 Yen, and I paid about $90. These ones are their newest model (~2012), btw.

Thought this could help reducing some wind-noise from the outside.

Pretty thicker than the other ones I have for my doors & trunk lid.

Before & After

Kindda hard to tell from a distance, especially w/ my door edge guards over it, but it's def filling up the space inside.

Was able to tell the noticeable change, especially when driving w/o my side window deflectors. (Oh, it's not the placebo thing tho. )

Been wanted to try this thing, ever since I read about it on some car magazines in JPN. Castrol Engine Shampoo Engine oil sludge remover.

It cleans up the engine oil sludge by simply adding it from the oil filler right before the oil change, let the engine run in idle for 10 min, and perform the oil change.

Test drove it, and the car seems to accelerate way smoother than before. Was hoping for the engine to become quieter, but kindda hard to tell on that, since it was raining hard all day. Hopefully, I'll be able to get some better gas mileages, but we'll see.

380mm. Convex type. The widest one that they ever made.

Well, now that people, who has been visiting my page, do recognize these products and can get these things, if they want to. (Most of these things are possible to be purchased online, as I explained it to DrOwZee. ) This is why I'm posting pics of the product labels / boxes front & back, in case if someone wants to figure out what the product name, item#, company website, etc., even if they're all written in Japanese.

One of my PIAA 4250K Arrow Star went out, and decided to get a different one.


PIAA 4500K Super Long Life Bulb

No pic of the lighting, but it's very similar to my Arrow Star shown below. Slightly bluer than this:

It better be "Super Long Life" as they say.

Been having a spare set of used OEM headlights for 5 months, and it's finally time to black-house them.

My original intension was to use a heat gun to melt the sealing, but I just put them in the oven instead, because it was taking too long w/ the gun.
--Preheated the oven to 210°F
--Baked them (one by one) for 10 min
--Pried them apart with a plat-head screw driver

(Wifey doesn't know that I used the oven. Shhh..)

--Removed two phillips screws behind the amber strip housings
--Washed all of the disassembled pieces w/ mild soap
--Wiped them off w/ kitchen papers (Let's be careful not to peal off the "breather hole mesh stickers" inside the housings that prevents condensation.)
--Ended up using the heat gun as the blow drier lmao
--Dusted off fibers from the kitchen towels w/ the air duster spray

Ready for some masking work on the housings.
