I don't know what you were thinking driving a problem-prone automatic like that, but I hope you learned your lesson. Anyway if you're thinking about a 2G TL, you won't be much better off, if at all. Those 5spd auto's are very problematic as well.

Does getting the Acura mean manual?

most likley auto, but i'd try to get a stick

welp after some research, i think im just gonna stick with the accord. as the Tl also has a tranny problem, so down the road ii'd be replacing that one too. :(

looks like im sticking with this 3.0 :(

UPDATE!: well the tranny shop took a look at it, and i believe my dad said it was gonna run 3600$ i blew 1"x4" hole in the casing

$3600 to rebuild your auto?? That's pretty high. That money would be much better spent swapping to manual if you have the means.

If you did get a manual to swap, I could help you do it. I have a full garage with a car lift and everything. Save you labor money.

Yes sirrr! i knowww right, ughh i wish i could just knock ssome ****ing sense into them!
